National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum – Cooperstown, NY

This is the official museum of Major League Baseball, located in Cooperstown, New York. It was established in 1939 by the National Association of Professional Baseball Leagues (NAPBL) and was created to honor all individuals who had made outstanding contributions to baseball.

The building itself is a massive brick structure that looks like a classic gothic castle with arched windows and turrets at each corner. Inside there are countless baseball artifacts on display including home run balls hit by Babe Ruth and Lou Gehrig that were both hit over 500 feet!

Located just off Interstate 90 at exit 26A in Cooperstown NY, this place is easy to get too but still feels isolated from town. There’s plenty here for kids too such as interactive exhibits where they can throw pitches against virtual batters or catch balls being thrown at them by computer generated players armed with bats instead of baseballs; adults will also enjoy learning more about how early game rules evolved over time as technologies changed throughout history such as when digitalized scoreboards were introduced into stadiums.

International Tennis Hall of Fame – Newport, RI

The International Tennis Hall of Fame is located in Newport, Rhode Island. The museum is open year-round and admission is $12 per person.

The museum’s collection includes photographs, memorabilia and sculptures of tennis greats such as Martina Navratilova, Billie Jean King and Rod Laver. You’ll also be able to see the US Open trophy up close on display inside the museum.

If you want to escape from the hustle and bustle of New York City for a day trip or weekend getaway that doesn’t break your wallet too much, consider visiting this impressive sports museum—and don’t forget your racket!

It’s the most popular sports museum in the world and one of the best places to go if you’re a football fan.

The museum displays all kinds of memorabilia from famous NFL players and teams, including helmets, jerseys, trophies, rings and more. You can also see historic objects like photographs, video clips and artefacts that show how football has evolved over time (the first professional player played in 1902). There are also interactive exhibits so visitors can test their skills against some famous quarterbacks like Johnny Unitas or Otto Graham.

The Hall of Fame was founded by former Green Bay Packers president Edwin “Papa Bear” Lambeau in 1963 as a tribute to all past players who contributed to making the game what it is today – one of America’s favourite pastimes!

Hockey Hall of Fame – Toronto, Canada

The Hockey Hall of Fame is located on the corner of Yonge Street and Front Street in Toronto, Canada. The museum is open year round, and offers visitors the chance to learn about hockey at all levels, from amateur play to professional leagues. A highlight of any visit is seeing historical artefacts like goaltender Jacques Plante’s goalie mask and Bobby Orr’s netted stick from his 1966-67 season as a member of the Boston Bruins.
